We're just about to start building the payment provider modules and I
just wanted to make a quick post asking which providers you'd like us
to consider integrating into StoreSuite by default?
So far we have PayPal, Authorize.net, Google Checkout, WorldPay, 2Checkout, Securepay, and CamTech. I'll be finalizing the list at the end of the week so please leave a comment ASAP.

Could we have some Australian providers too? Companies like eWay provide API's that hopefully are easy to integrate. The likes of PayPal still don't offer their full services to Australian users.
[From Mitch: Hi Justin. Both CamTech and Secureway are Australian, but I'll look into eWay as I hear they're fairly popular around here in Oz]

For me who is focusing on the swedish market I would love to see support for Payson (https://www.payson.se/) and fakturera mig (http://www.faktureramig.se/). These 2 are the two most requested payment features for any payment module in sweden.
Payson has a nice feature where they hold payments until both buyer and seller agree that the transaction is completed and it comes with creditcard payment feature for visa/mastercard as well as the ability to directly from the largest banks in sweden.
Fakturera mig is one of the most used external billing system and its been proved that by having this feature sales increase alot.
Both have API available and if they might not make it as default payment modules, would it be possible to make them as standalone products/addons?
[From Mitch: Hi Jimi. I'll add these to the payment providers list but I can't guarantee 100% they'll be included in the initial release. StoreSuite is modular so it'd be easy to add them in if we couldn't squeeze them into the first release]

Most of our clients use Payjunction (www.payjunction.com) and Sage Payment Solutions (www.sagepaymentsystems.net).
The latter also accepts e-checks at no additional charge, which is in very high demand. It would be great if that could be integrated into Storesuite.
I think another great system would be "Bill Me Later" (www.billmelater.com), I'm sure you've seen that one around!

- Paypal Website Payments Pro / Express Integration.
- Google checkout level 2 integration to report tracking numbers, coupons, etc...dont do the basic integration as EVERYONE DOES THAT and you want to stand out!
- Cardinal Commerce may be a great addition as they have many security based features to work with

I would say that adding skipjack
http://www.skipjack.com/
to the list would be good.
Well established and the current processor for saleforce.com.
They are also integrated with POS systems for brick and mortar stores. Offering web integration would be a nice incentive. Also widely used by fortune 500 companies. Plus they have api ready to go for developers.

Linkpoint would be a great addition, we use Cybersource which uses linkpoint. Considering one of your biggest competing products is OSCommerce, looking through their contributions sections would give a good idea of what people are using. Thanks for developing this, I am looking forward to possibly replacing 5 stores with it.

It would incredible to offer support for the digital goods by offering the payment by SMS. There is a solution on the market, I mean Rentabiliweb (www.rentabiliweb.com). In that case your ecart will the first one that will integrate that kind of payment (wich is free)

I'm fairly new to e-commerce but I've had feedback from clients who want their payment process integrated into their own website, rather than taking customers to another external site for payment. I've spoken to a few web design e-commerce experts here in New Zealand and they all use DPS (dps.co.nz) to provide this service. Is there any chance you could consider an interface to DPS?

There is significant interest in NZ and is planned to be extensively used for customers that wish to switch from osCommerce. Most of these customers use Paystation, DPS (via DPS PXAccess or Paymate. Since we only have a few major banks, having these modules will cater for the needs of all customers (since Banks only allow a few providers).
Looking forward to the release :)

Dont forget the OFFLINE payment option, ie to sen the customer an paper invoice, one way to do this easy is to mail the admin an invoice copy to print out and send to the customer via ordinary mail and then the option to autorize acces to the product right away or on manualy verifyed payment.
I think this is of huge importancy due to the fact that a lot of people still is skeptic about online payment
[From Mitch: Hi Peter. StoreSuite will include all of the standard offline payment methods, I haven't forgotten :)]

For Europeans with a global reach, the only US payment provider that works successfully with European accounts is 2CO 2checkout.com, so please make this a priority - thanks

In Denmark they have their own payment card called Dankort. The card is free to use for the customer and very cheap for the shop to accept. +80% of all danish e-payments are made with a Dankort.
I would therefore recommend you to intergrate a danish provider like QuickPay.dk if you wish access to the danish market.

I would like to see this as an option, aswell as the automated payment gateways. Thanks

A fellow countryman already mentioned it, but it would be great to have the major Dutch payment method iDEAL. This is not a payment provider, but a general payment method supported by all major Dutch banks. It's a direct bank transfer via the internet, and the most popular way of paying online. In Holland the use of credit cards is not widespread, and many people who do own one, are afraid to use them on the internet. You may want to consult software like OSCommerce, ZenCart and VirtueMart, that already have modules for iDeal.

HSBC would be an added advantage for a lot of uk users because its become a highly used business solution these days. i have looked at many other cart solutions and no one offers this gateway.
Please give it some thought for us uk business people.
cheers guys and keep up the great work, highly impressed with sendstudio so far by the way.
