A detailed progress report will be posted on the blog tomorrow, but
here's a 10 minute video of me developing StoreSuite; more specifically
I am creating the screens where you can add "brands" to your
StoreSuite-driven eCommerce site. This video mainly focuses on the PHP
code for part of the StoreSuite control panel so if you don't know PHP
it might confuse you ;)
Brands will play a big role in StoreSuite as an eCommerce solution. People like to shop for products in different ways, and just like categories and tag clouds, the ability to shop by brand is preferred by a lot of people.
Anyway, here's the video. It's 68MB but streams fairly well so you should be able to watch as it streams. Enjoy!

Not bad, I am really looking forward to this release.
Just noticed an issue tho, at the top of this page I see two:
Home > StoreSuite > Updates Video: The Addition of Brands to StoreSuite
Will the products allow for comments and reviews to be posted? If yes then can it also be turned off?
[From Mitch: Hi Luke. This post appears in 2 categories so that's why there's 2 breadcrumb trails at the top of the page. StoreSuite will have comments/reviews and they can be turned off, yep!]
