Hi everyone. I just wanted to make a quick blog post to mention a few things regarding our shopping cart software. First up, the product's name has changed from StoreSuite to Interspire Shopping Cart. We felt that Interspire Shopping Cart is a better, more explanatory name for the product, and this will be the first of many product name changes we'll be making over the next few months.
The beta of Interspire Shopping Cart will be available to download for people who have pre-ordered within the next few hours. You will also receive a detailed email with instructions on how to try the beta and report bugs. We decided to hold back releasing the beta last week in order to integrate the new default template, which you can see below.
Finally, we have changed the default template from the template we were using to develop the beta to the final template that will be included in the first beta release. Chris B. spent the weekend reworking parts of our template system to make it faster and integrated the first of many templates we will be including with the final release in a few weeks. You can see the screenshots below (click on a screenshot to enlarge it).
We'll talk more about Interspire Shopping Cart as the beta testing progresses over the coming weeks. Please feel free to post a comment or contact us if you have any questions. The pre-release pricing (which is discounted by up to 50%) is still available for another week or so, so make sure you pre-order your copy of Interspire Shopping Cart before the prices go up.

As I mentioned above, the beta will be going out to everyone who has pre-ordered within the next few hours. It's 11pm Sydney time here (AEST GMT+11) and Rodney, Chris B. and I are hoping to have it ready by about 2am local time.

Hey Guys. I am impressed with product and presentation. We are diving in more tomorrow. The name change I agree does make this more generalized. If you are looking for partners to rebrand the name and adapt to there needs than in my experience a name like this has been perfect. If you are looking for more attention than you may want to stick to your original name since you have also created a buzz for this. Hopefully it is not a copyright issue. Best of luck on the next steps. We are looking forward to it!
Best!

This is what i've been waiting for!
Now its time to buy...but one question which hasn't seem to have been answered - if we pre order now, or tomorrow etc will we still get to be involved in beta testing? E.g. not just public round 5 testing? Thanks!
[From Mitch: Hi Ben. You sure will, yep. You'll get the beta version immediately after purchasing and can generate a key and beta test to your heart's content!]

Just bought storesuite/interspire shopping cart - so shall test it all out! Thanks so much guys for all the hard work - i've never waited for some thing as long as this!! By the way, for my two cents..i think storesuite sounds much better than shopping cart. In my experiences not so good software is called shopping cart, good stuff has names like storesuite or ecommerce software. Adds to the look ;)
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Nice work guys :) I agree with Ben - "StoreSuite" was a cool name - like a brand and very new age. "Interspire Shopping Cart" is a gobfull, and sounds like it is side by side with the OSCommerce type solutions, which as we all know, its not. Prease consider ? :p

Just installed (was well easy)
Just playing around and only found 1 issue with the design mode which is understandable.
Looking great now!
